You can't have opened an HSBC UK or first direct current account on or after 1 Jan 2023.
Steps
Ensure the account you will switch from has at least 2 active Direct Debits (Switch Tracker can help with this)
Open an HSBC UK Bank Account in the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app
Switch in an account from another bank
Pay in at least £2,000
Spend at least £500 on your HSBC debit card
Wait up to 60 days after meeting all criteria to get the £220.
